New year, new apartment, new life

It's been a while since posting and I have had a LONG couple of months. Downsizing from a 1600+ sq. ft house to a 610 sq. ft apartment is not an easy task. You'd think that after selling most of our furniture, moving day would go smoothly. Well, it did not. And spending weeks assembling all our new furniture from IKEA was quite daunting. We thought it might never end.

After hanging the last picture on the wall we immediately got in the car and drove home to DC for Christmas. I can honestly say that coming back to our new home in the middle of the city was an amazing feeling.

Now begins the new life. Job interviews, meeting new people, and learning the ways of the city. Should be an interesting year...




We managed to fit everything in that we need, though it's a bit tight. I definitely learned some useful space saving tips. Stay tuned for bedroom pics (that's where I keep the shoes and handbags!)
