New Year's Eve

New Year's Eve- the most anticipated night of the year. I've had some pretty bad one's due to this overwhelming anticipation. It never quite lives up to what it's supposed to be.

So, why do we feel the need to place such high importance on one night? After a laid back new year's, I realized that I didn't need to buy a new outfit (in fact, I found this dress in the back of my closet from Bebe about 8 years ago), and not feeling like I drank too much the night before was actually a refreshing way to start 2011.

The weather in Boston was uncharacteristically warm for New Year's Eve. After a great dinner and fun celebration at Sonsie on Newbury, we had a long pleasant walk to start the year. Not something I want to get used to for December in Boston...
